Photographic Artists

A Place to Share Your Photographic Work All Over the World.

I know we don't all have time to comment on EVERY photo. WE all lead very busy lives. However, when you have time. Please try to take the time to RATE each photo that catches your EYE.
You have 5 STARS. So...RATE in this manner:
5: A
4: B
3: C
2: D
1: F
And feel free to post any VIDEOS that offer magic 'Photographically". We'd all like to see.
If you know of any EVENTS in your area...feel free to post them in the EVENTS section. :)

Hi b...
I think I'll leave that to the judgement of the one rating.
I, myself, would rate based on it being a work on a stand alone in a hall of anonymous artists. In the end...the AVERAGES should really give us an idea of what our photographic peers think of the shot. Hugs, Michael

hello to all...
I think it would be nice to get a brief comment for anything under 3 stars...
it would be helpful to know why the image did not appeal your sight and how it could be improved in your humble opinion...
my best, francis.

I agree that a person might not have the time to comment on every photo, but I earnestly believe that if you have the time to RATE a photo then you should make the time to justify a rating, be it a 5 or a 1. If you (the rater) can't do that for a fellow photographer, the how are we to learn what others think is good, or bad.
It's the comments that help us grow, the rating, merely help us grow egos.
I'm here to learn, how about you?
BTW, another pet peeve of mine is a comment such as, "nice pic," (what's nice about it?), or "pretty smile," or "nice boobs." I mean come one, we've all seen those types of comments, but do they really help anyone?

Don

If I look at a shot that only would rate a two or three, I am more apt to write a note than to rate.
