- I can't tell you how very, very pleased I was to get so many comments from you on my work. Thank you for taking so much time, and thank you for giving the pictures some obvious good thought. I appreciate the suggestions you offered about cropping, etc., but was THRILLED with your comment on the white-throated sparrow (snowball with feathers). You absolutely made my day; I'll have a smile on my face the rest of the day now!

- The dust explains the problem - don't you get frustrated fighting dust, smog, haze, etc., when without any of that you'd have such a good picture?

- Thank you for the compliment on my snow shots. Half of it is being at the right place at the right time and my son has beautiful views around his place in Washington. The 26+ inches of snow just enhanced it.

- I am a self taught photograher. I have a camera in my hand or up to the eye most of the time. I work with a Nikon 50 and Cannon EOS D 50. I am not sure which is my favorite, both work well for me. I am willing and want to learn so, please, give me honest reviews of my photos.
