I like this one. All the rain, snow, and hail make for an unusual scene. Something for me to think about photographing when it appears.

Thanks for giving us a little cultural insight.

Are they all the same frog? Beautiful.

Kate, I haven't seen a frog for years and you have managed to capture them in photos. Keep up the sharing.

Pete, Congratulations on achieving such a photo, not only with the Perseids, the Big Dipper in the background. Every year I tried to do something similar but the clouds or rain came in. Nicholas, WB2FAW

It's not a day lillie like the Stella De Ore's. It is very tall and the greens don't grow in clumps like the stellas. I don't know what it is called but they come in lots of colors. The stellas here bloom all summer but these are done once they bloom. Sorry, I don't really know what kind it is.

Hi Nick, You asked if one of my photos was a day lily. I'm not sure which photo you are referring to. I do have one daylily with rain drops here. I have a hard time with this site. Never can get the hang of it, manage to do a few things but then I get frustrated. Must be the old granny in me, lol Kay

Hi Nick, I have been using my other telescope and my fujifinepixE900, I got a back up here but that is the camera i use on my telescope freehand style, tonights photo I used a blue filter since the moon was just a little bright of course, it seemed to help down with the glare, although i wasn't able to get a good look at saturn tonight
