Howdy Rita... thanks bunches for your comment on my "Tsaina Lodge" image.... it was quite an interesting Lodge, I just loved all the little cabins dotting the mountainside! ;~)

Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Rita! And you're absolutely correct about squirrels...they can be pains in the buttinsky sometimes, but the really can be very cute sometimes, also.

Rita, you mighwant to try black velvet - I honestly think it's the best thing going for a floral BG. Unless it happens to catch the sun, or has some lint on it, it works great. Getting the right exposure becomes a bit of a challenge, but I'm sure that with your ability, you can deal with that very nicely. Let me know if you try it, and if you like the way it works out for you.

Thank you for your kind comment on my yellow autumn coralroot, Rita. Frankly, most people don't like that flower because it's sort of homely, but it is in the orchid family, and its rarity interested me. The fact is, the first time I saw it I thought it was a sickly regular autumn coralroot! As for the BG, I cheated and used a piece of black velvet.

Rita, thanks for your clever, amusing comment on my dew-kissed wildflower. Who but you would have thought of a smurf? Anyway, actually I saw the flower mid-morning - since it was in a prairie area, the dew lasted quite a long time. I don't know what the flower was, but it was fairly tall.

I haven't learned yet how to use the Inbox to write privately, but will try to figure that out as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Rita, NONE of your comments have been anything but helpful and encouraging.
